The Browntown Bridge & Swimming Hole in Bradford Township

Located just off Browntown Road, one mile north of Lewis Run.  For decades this old railroad bridge has been a spot for swimming, fishing, bird watching, partying and other unmentionable activities.  The bridge was part of the now defunct Erie Railroad, which serviced the area for many years.  The current Buffalo & Pittsburgh line is only a few hundred yards or so east of this location.

There are small swamps east and south of the bridge that are ideal for bird watchers.  This grade is also a great place to hike or ride your mountain bike.
